Beta 1 — Package Downloads And Rich Links

Summary: Larger Package upload batches, grouped ZIP downloads, compact internal links, and clearer editing controls. This update continues the Beta 1 milestone.

Projects​

  • Upload up to 25 files at a time to Package Assets, at 25 MB per file, and add more batches afterward.
  • Use Download group for a dated group ZIP, or Download all for a dated Package ZIP with folders for each Asset group.
  • Each Asset group remembers its own Thumbnails or List view. Editing and moving files keeps scrolling stable; Save changes and Cancel apply across groups participating in the same draft.
  • Use Copy group link to reopen a specific Asset group, expanded and highlighted. The group menu also offers Delete group where permitted; files move to the default group.
  • Deleting an eligible Task section explains where its completed and archived Tasks will move. Archived Tasks stay archived, and Archived items shows their section.
  • Project action menus now include Copy project link.

Collaboration​

  • Paste a supported Praxsys Project, Task, Request, or Package URL into rich text to create a compact link card. Cards show accessible titles or comment authors, open in the same tab, and offer copy-link and Show full URL controls.
  • Comments start Oldest first for each view or subject. Switch to Newest first for the current visit; filter and sort controls stay visible while scrolling the comment list.

UX Improvements​

  • Select Edit Description to edit descriptions. Editor toolbars stay visible while scrolling, and inline images are sharper without enlarging small originals.
  • Empty attachment areas start with Upload files; existing files use Edit attachments. Unsupported previews offer Preview unavailable, Download file, and Close.
  • Creation notifications remain usable while a details panel is open. Dismissing the Beta 1 welcome carries across routine Beta 1 version updates.

Notifications And Reliability​

  • Package update emails organize added filenames by Asset group, summarize longer lists and removals, and show the exact Created timestamp.
  • Email styling is more resilient when forwarded.
  • Accepting an invitation preserves an existing account name for the default Space identity and keeps custom identities intact.
