Alpha 4

Version: 0.43.0-alpha.4
Release date: June 15, 2026
Summary: Pasted image intake, clearer attachment previews, project creation polish, task status label updates, and project/task email notification defaults for the closed alpha.

Alpha 4 added pasted image intake, standardized attachment previews, and project flow polish. These notes summarize the visible product changes that shipped in this release.

Collaboration And Attachments

  • Work task, Plan request, and Plan document comments can now include pasted screenshots directly in the comment body.
  • Pasted comment images stay connected to the normal comment attachment system, so preview, download, and access behavior remains consistent.
  • Posted inline images and attached image thumbnails now preserve more of the original image instead of cropping important screenshot details.
  • Image previews use a shared centered modal with filename, dimensions where available, download access, and previous/next navigation within the relevant image set.
  • PNG transparency is easier to recognize without changing the surrounding panel background.

Work

  • Work task descriptions can now accept pasted images while editing. Praxsys stages the pasted images near the description editor and saves them as normal task attachments when the description is saved.
  • New projects now open Work with a quiet empty state instead of starting with an empty default section.
  • The New Task flow can create a section inline when needed, and it uses clearer section and visibility controls.
  • Tasks created from the New Task modal appear at the top of the selected section, while the bottom add-task control still appends at the bottom.

Projects

  • Project task status labels now use In Review for review-ready work and Done for approved work.
  • Project tabs and Plan Documents/Requests navigation respond more immediately after a click while the new page content loads.
  • Newly created sections, tasks, folders, and documents appear sooner while Praxsys finishes saving them.
  • Section, folder, task, and document movement handles are easier to discover and show clearer unavailable states.
  • Project text fields and create modals use a calmer neutral focus treatment.

Notifications

  • Project/task email notifications now default on when a user has not saved a preference yet.
  • Users who already turned project/task email notifications off stay opted out.
  • Account Settings remains the place to review and change project/task email notification preferences.

Reliability

  • Attachment previews are more consistent across task assets, request attachments, and comment image attachments.
  • Comment image preview navigation stays scoped to the comment that opened the preview.
  • Task asset and request attachment preview navigation stays scoped to the relevant attachment list.
  • Project creation and project navigation flows received polish that reduces layout jumps during normal work.
