Notifications

Praxsys combines in-app awareness with focused transactional email for work that is relevant to the recipient.

In-App Notifications​

The shared notification feed can include current events from:

  • Tasks
  • Requests
  • Packages
  • Opportunities
  • invitations

Events can cover assignments, comments, mentions, status changes, new Requests, and other access-relevant activity. Notification links open the correct Project surface and details panel; exact-comment links scroll to the referenced comment.

The feed refreshes while you work and keeps read state for the current browser.

Email Notifications​

One Email notifications preference in Account Settings controls supported application email across:

  • Task assignment, updates, comments, and mentions
  • Request submission, receipt, updates, comments, and mentions
  • Package updates, comments, and mentions
  • Opportunity assignment, status, Checklist, comments, and mentions

The preference defaults on when you have not saved a choice. Turning it off applies to all supported application notification families. Authentication emails remain separate.

Product Updates​

Product updates in Account Settings is a separate, optional subscription for Praxsys announcements. It is off until you subscribe and has its own Save/Cancel controls. Changing it does not change work-related Email notifications.

You may see a Stay in the loop prompt when entering the app. Choose Subscribe to product updates to opt in, or No thanks to dismiss it. You can review your choice later in Account Settings. Dismissing the prompt does not change an existing subscription.

Update Batching​

Some lifecycle updates are grouped for a short period to avoid sending one email for every nearby change. Task, Request, and Package update emails can summarize related changes, while assignments, comments, and mentions remain distinct notifications.

Package update emails group added filenames by Asset group, shorten long names and lists with remaining counts, and summarize removals separately. Created shows the Package's exact creation time in your timezone.

Subscriptions​

Ongoing Task, Request, and Package updates require a current notification subscription. Will be notified: shows subscribers; Get notified and Stop notifications let you change your own subscription.

  • New Tasks subscribe the eligible assignee, Requests the requester, and Packages the creator.
  • Task reassignment subscribes the new assignee and preserves previous subscribers.
  • Default subscriptions can be removed. Ordinary edits or viewing the work do not restore them.
  • Mentions and one-time Task assignment, Request receipt, and new-Request manager alerts remain separate from subscriptions. A mention does not subscribe its recipient.

Subscription does not mean every change sends an email. Existing event rules still apply: Task operational-detail updates go to the current subscribed assignee, while other eligible subscribers receive supported status updates.

Access And Recipients​

Praxsys rechecks current access before presenting protected notification content or sending email. The person who performed an action is normally excluded from its update email.

Recipients must still have access when a notification is shown or email is sent. Stopping notifications also suppresses pending routine emails for that subscription.

Project following affects selected in-app Project awareness. It does not grant access and does not replace individual subscriptions or the account-wide email preference. Opportunity notifications follow their own assignment and collaboration rules.
