Notifications

Praxsys notifications help people notice project changes that need attention without turning every workspace update into noise.

In-App Notifications

In-app notifications appear in the shared notifications dropdown.

Current task notifications can cover:

  • assignment changes
  • task comments
  • task comment mentions
  • Quick Replies to your task comments
  • task status changes
  • due date changes for the current assignee
  • priority changes for the current assignee

Current request notifications can cover:

  • request comments
  • request comment mentions
  • Quick Replies to your request comments
  • requests moved into review
  • request close events
  • tasks created from requests
  • request merge resolutions when available

Current document notifications can cover Quick Replies to your Plan document comments.

Notification links open the relevant project surface and, when possible, the task or request details panel.

Email Notifications

Project and task email notifications are controlled per user in Account Settings. If you do not have a saved preference yet, supported project/task emails are on by default. If you already turned them off, they stay off.

Current email notification areas include:

  • assigned to you
  • new task comment where you are a relevant recipient
  • task comment mention
  • task due date changed for the assignee
  • task priority changed for the assignee
  • task ready for review for the assignee
  • task approved for the assignee

Request and document collaboration notifications are in-app only in the current version.

User Control

Account Settings lets you review and change project/task email notification preferences where available. In-app notifications remain focused on changes that are relevant to the person receiving them.

What Praxsys Avoids

Praxsys does not send email for every project update, every watcher change, every status change, every Quick Reply, or broad project-member announcements in the current notification model.
