Packages

Packages keep Project files, context, and discussion together. Create a Package with a name, then add a description and files in Assets. A Package can remain empty while you prepare the work.

Package Status

Packages use these statuses:

  • Draft
  • In Progress
  • In Review
  • Approved

The Space owner, Admins, and current Project Lead can change status. There is no required sequence; In Review signals that the content is ready for review.

Description

When you can edit a Package, select Edit Description, paste images at the cursor, and select Save to keep them with the text. These images remain inline and are separate from the groups in Assets. See Description images for limits and Save/Cancel behavior.

Assets

Authorized users can:

  • upload files directly to a Package
  • add, rename, and reorder groups, and move files between them
  • search filenames and choose a remembered Thumbnails or List view for each expanded group
  • preview images (including HEIC), PDFs, supported text, CSV/TSV, and DOCX files, even before saving
  • download original files individually, by group, or as a complete Assets ZIP

Select Upload files in an empty group to reveal its drop zone, then drop files or click to browse. For a group with files, select Edit attachments, then Upload files or use the drop zone. Uploads start as files are selected; check their progress and retry any failures before selecting Save changes. Cancel discards the draft. Failed saves keep your changes available for retry.

Editing starts in the selected group. Moving a file to another group adds that group to the same draft; Save changes or Cancel in any participating group applies to all of it.

Use New Group to organize Assets. The initial Attachments group can be renamed. Click a group's title-row background or file count to expand or collapse it. Its dots menu offers Copy group link and, where permitted, Delete group. Group links expand, scroll to, and highlight the group for people with access. Deleting a custom group moves its files to the default group without deleting them; the default group cannot be deleted. File reordering is unavailable while filename search is active.

Each upload accepts up to 25 files at 25 MB each. Add more batches afterward; a Package has no cumulative attachment-count limit. DOCX previews show supported text and tables; original page layout and embedded images are omitted. Download the original for the complete document.

Download group creates a ZIP named for the group and date. Download all in the Assets toolbar creates a dated Package ZIP with a folder for each group, including empty groups. ZIPs contain saved Assets; comments and inline description images are excluded.

See Attachments for shared preview, download, and save controls.

Sections And Ordering

The Packages collection defaults to Section grouping and Manual order. Authorized Project managers can create Sections and move Packages within or between them. These collection Sections are separate from the Asset groups inside a Package.

Collaboration

Packages support comments, mentions, comment attachments, notification subscriptions, private Journal entries, Activity, copy links, and archive or restore. Visibility can be Team + Guests or Team Only. Guests can discuss Packages they can read even when they cannot edit the content.

Content Approval

Select Approved to approve the current Package content. Approval requires at least one file in Assets or a saved description image, plus a message, and records who approved it and when. Comment attachments do not count as approval content. If the content changes before approval completes, review the latest content before trying again.

Approved Packages remain editable. Saving changes to the name, description, or files—including adding or removing description images—requires confirmation and returns the Package to In Progress. Rearranging groups or file order, changing visibility, and adding discussion preserve approval.

Package content approval does not create a separate Approval or approve contractual terms or scope. It does not preserve a permanent copy of removed files.
