Project Settings And Archived
Project Settings and Archived items are reached from the Project action menu. They are not persistent Project tabs.
General Settings
Admins and the current Project Lead can update the Project name and summary. Admins can also change the optional Client Profile association. That relationship does not grant Space membership or Project access.
General also shows read-only Project status, current Project Lead, creator, timestamps, Project ID, and Client context. Project status is changed from the Project header rather than from Settings.
Project Notifications
Eligible Admins can choose Participating only or Follow project for selected in-app Project awareness. Following does not grant access or replace individual Task, Request, and Package subscriptions or email-recipient rules.
The current Project Lead automatically follows the Project while assigned.
Members
Project member management uses one flow for adding an existing Space member or inviting a new member. Project Access is presented as:
- Manager for the primary Admin, other Admins, and the current Project Lead
- Editor for members who can edit Project work
- Guest for read-only collaboration access
Member Type remains a separate description of the person's relationship to the Space.
Every active Project has exactly one eligible active Project Lead. A new Project assigns its creating Admin as the initial lead. Authorized Admins can hand that responsibility to another eligible Admin or Collaborator Editor from Members.
Archive A Project
The Danger zone in Project Settings contains Project lifecycle actions. The Space owner and Admins can archive a Project to remove it from active work while preserving its contents. Project Lead responsibility alone does not grant this action.
To restore a Project, open the Projects index, select Archived projects, and use its restore action. Setting a Project to Complete does not archive it.
Delete And Recover A Project
Only the Space owner can request deletion. Enter the exact Project name to confirm. An archived Project must be restored before it can be deleted.
The Project is removed from active work and has a seven-day recovery window from the deletion request. The owner can restore it from the Projects index's Deleted projects view during that window. After the deadline, recovery is unavailable and the Project becomes eligible for permanent cleanup; cleanup may occur later.
Archived
Archived items shows recoverable tasks and Packages inside the current Project. Authorized users can restore supported records. Completing a task does not archive it automatically.
Archived Task rows show their Section, so you can see where they will return before restoring them. Deleting an eligible List Section moves its archived Tasks to the destination named in the confirmation without restoring them.
Use this destination for individual archived items and the Projects index for whole-Project recovery.
